The Code Enforcement Unit Task Force Final Report, September 26, 2008 has been posted to the County's Website. Click here for report. Also, the report has been distributed to all of the County's Library locations (including remote locations such as Willow Creek and Garberville) and will be available to the public in each of these locations within several days.
The Final Report is a 137 page document, containing a wide array of information relating to the Code Enforcement Unit and related code compliance issues. The report is unique, as it contains individual reports by each task force member, as well as the 18 recommendations that all task force members supported.
The Civil Liberties Monitoring Project has copies of the report at our office in Garberville, which is open on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10:30am to 3:30pm. and we plan to have the reports available at other places in Garberville and Redway soon. And we'll have copies at the October 10th (Friday) Humboldt County 2nd District Supervisor Candidates Night At the Veterans Hall in Garberville.
And the Code Enforcement Unit Task Force Final Report will be on the Supervisor's Agenda on OCTOBER 14th at 10:00am. It is important that the Board of Supervisors receive input from the people who live in the unincorporated areas of the County where the Code Enforcement Unit operates.
